The Client/Project dashboard groups every job into six stages, worked out from the sales stage and production phase your office already sets — so there is no extra field to keep in sync and nothing to update twice.
The parts a builder uses every day — and not much else
EasyJobSite is deliberately not an everything-app. It does the handful of things that keep a job moving, and it does them on a phone with one bar of signal.
Projects by stage
Every job on one dashboard, grouped by stage and searchable by client, address or title. Site address, scope, owner and warranty date live on the job, not in someone's head.
Subcontractor portal
Subs get a free login that shows only the jobs they are assigned to. They set their own status — scheduled, in progress, blocked with a reason, done — and post photos. They never see customer contact details or money.
Messages, per job, per sub
A private office channel plus one conversation per job with each sub. Everyone gets an email copy with a link back, so nothing waits on someone opening an app. The message in the app is the record.
Photos and documents
Straight from the phone into the job, stamped with who uploaded it and when. Plans, permits and contracts sit on the same job. Financial documents are walled off to the people with accounting access.
Roles and permissions
Build your own roles. Decide who sees money, who sees the sales pipeline, who can only touch the jobs they are on. The database enforces it, not the screen — so hiding a button is never the only thing standing in the way.
Shared subcontractor directory
Subs already on EasyJobSite for another builder do not need a second login. One account, every builder they work for, and you can find them in the directory instead of starting from scratch.
